PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Area Business Association has voiced its support in favor of mayor Sam Adams.
The PABA sent this release:
"The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) community is represented by a rainbow. Its stripes and spectrum signify diversity—honoring a variety of opinions. The Portland Area Business Association (PABA) champions LGBTQ business and community. PABA serves as the LGBTQ chamber of commerce and business association.
The PABA Board has unanimously arrived at a position regarding the current events surrounding the Mayor of Portland. In light of current economic conditions and Mayor Sam Adams’ stand for both sustainable business growth and the LGBTQ business community, the PABA Board believes Portland is best served by our Mayor’s continued leadership, pending the outcome of official investigation."
