Brian has a passion for delivering the most accurate PinPoint Traffic and PinPoint Weather reports. He came to love the weather when he was just six years old and knew he wanted to learn everything he could to understand the NW complex weather patterns. He also quickly realized how drastically the weather affects the traffic. He wants people to not only have pinpoint accurate forecasts, but also traffic reports because he knows how important it is to be able to by-pass the problem spots.
Brian joined KOIN Local 6 in January 2009 working as a weather producer, and quickly moving to an on-air position in October of that year. He has served as a fill in weather anchor since October 2009 as well as the afternoon traffic anchor guiding you home Monday through Friday afternoons. He is a native Oregonian and Portlander so he knows all the roads and ways to get around traffic like the back of his hand.
When Brian is not working at KOIN Local 6, he works for a local elementary school. He is also very involved in managing his Church's young adult group, and volunteering with Rebuilding Together Portland. You may see him out running because he loves to go on long runs especially on the weekend with his wife Laura.
