An award winning reporter, born and raised in the Midwest, Alexis and her husband moved to the beautiful Northwest in 2004 and have been loving life ever since.
Over the years Alexis has done numerous reports exposing the growing problem of sex trafficking. For a sampling of some of her past reports see the video to the left.
"The Pacific Northwest is, hands down, the most beautiful place I've ever lived," she said. "Portland is a jewel. The people here are great."
She's married to Realtor Salvador Del Cid. They are parents to "a beautiful little boy" named Kingston and a "wonderful, little dog named Saint." (Saint is actually a very naughty dog. Not saintly at all. He is named after the New Orleans Saints, as she and her husband are die-hard Saints fans -- GEAUX SAINTS!!)
Alexis loves rain (no joke), hiking, water skiing and Thai food.
Something that you may not know about this multi-talented broadcaster: She water skied competitively for 13 years in Wisconsin and knows how to juggle three tennis balls while skiing, with her foot in the rope! (She's shown us the pictures so we know she's telling the truth.)
