GRESHAM - The Gresham Police Department is asking for help in locating a missing adult.

On October 21, 2009 at about 10:00 AM, Werner “Vern” Sahlin left his adult foster home in SW Gresham.  He has not been seen or heard from by care-givers or family. Sahlin is familiar with the local transit system and often travels the area on TriMet.

Sahlin may suffer from mental health issues and is in need of his medication. If Sahlin is seen the public is encouraged to contact 911 or their local law enforcement agency.  The general public is encouraged to use caution if approaching Mr. Sahlin as it is unkown how he will respond to strangers.
