CAMAS, Wash. – Image the reaction if you got home from Trick-or-Treating and found a diamond ring in your bag of loot!
Well, one person did after a Camas woman’s ring fell off her finger Halloween night.
Joan Collins handed out candy to nearly 300 kids Saturday night, she thinks. She remembered that her ring got stuck on a plastic orange pumpkin, and that her ring might have fallen off in a little girl’s bag. She thinks the girl was about 2-years-old and wearing green, but she is certain that her ring got stuck on a plastic pumpkin.
The two carat diamond on an 18 carat band, and she designed it herself 20 years ago. Collins said the ring has a lot of sentimental value.
Collins is offering a reward for the ring.
