Morning fog, then high clouds

Fog is hanging tough this morning, but all areas should be clear by noon.  Aside from high clouds, we’ll see mostly sunny conditions today.

Tomorrow will be the warmest day of the week, as highs hit 60 degrees.  High pressure will keep us dry, but not for long!


A strong cold front moves onshore Thursday, bring our first chance of rain this week.  Rain could be heavy at times Thursday into Friday, with showers to follow this weekend.

Coast:
Patchy morning fog, then sun with high clouds.  Highs: 61 in Astoria, 64 in Tillamook, 64 in Newport.

I-5 Corridor/Willamette Valley:
Patchy dense morning fog, then sun mixed with high clouds.  Highs: 58 in Kelso, 60 in Salem, 61 in Corvallis.

Gorge:
Filtered sunshine.  East wind 10-20 mph near Hood River.  Highs: 60 in Cascade Locks, 54 in Hood River, 51 in The Dalles.

Cascades:
Freezing level: 12,000 ft.  Sun mixed with high clouds.  Highs: 44 at Timberline, 48 in Government Camp.

Central Oregon
: Lots of high clouds early, then mostly sunny.  Highs: 52-56.

Eastern Oregon
Morning high clouds, then mostly sunny.  Highs: 49-55.
