A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Cascades until 4 AM Sunday.  2 to 3 feet of snow will pile up, as cold air moves into the Northwest.

On the coast, a High Surf Warning is in effect until 4 PM Saturday.  25 to 30 ft. swells have been reported offshore, with large breaker waves on the beaches.  To complicate matters, tides will also be high over the next few days.  Please use caution when storm watching!

Rain is likely again Saturday evening, becoming heavy at times.  I think we’ll catch a break Sunday though!  Aside from a few morning showers, I expect dry conditions Sunday afternoon.

Another strong weather system is lining up for Monday.  We’ll keep you posted on the active weather right here on koin.com!

Have a great weekend!
