The Overview
You’ve probably heard that investigators from the National Weather Service now confirm it was two different tornadoes’ that touched down in the Willamette Valley on Monday. The one we know the most about was ranked an EF-0 (zero) – the weakest level of tornado with wind speeds estimated at 70mph.
Showers went away as the sun set Tuesday evening, now we’re headed for a foggy and cold start most places on Wednesday. Clouds increase and we could see some sprinkles Wednesday evening – but that’s just a chance.
Rain develops Thursday and the day looks wet. As far as trick-or-treating – it looks like a wet Halloween Day, with showers ending after sunset Saturday night, just in time for trick or treaters.
The Wednesday details now:
Coast: Patchy AM fog, then increasing clouds. Chance of rain, late. Highs: 51-54.
I-5 Corridor/Willamette Valley: Patchy AM fog, then increasing clouds. Chance of rain, late. Highs: 50-53.
Gorge: Patchy AM fog west, then increasing clouds. Chance of rain, late. Highs: 50-55.
