Areas that are sheltered from the wind will be cold to start both Saturday and Sunday—likely below freezing to start. And a few of these spots may see fog form, too.
But most areas will stay at least somewhat breezy with east wind continuing. These areas stay above freezing at night and have stay clear all weekend.
60s for highs are possible in parts of the Willamette Valley and along parts of the coast…but probably not Portland where the east wind will keep temperatures limited to the 50s.
Our next chance of rain: looks like Tuesday. But there’s some hint this rain may go south of us. So just put this on your ‘possible’ list for next week.
Coast: Breezy, a few high clouds and mild. Highs: 56-62.
I-5 Corridor/Willamette Valley: Mostly sunny skies and breezy to windy, depending on where you are. Calm areas are cooler at night & warmer in the afternoon. Highs: 50-61.
Gorge: Sunny and windy with east winds gusting to about 50mph. Stronger winds at Crown Point. Highs: 47-52.
Cascades: Sunny and a bit breezy at times with an afternoon freeze level around 7,000’. Highs: 34-43.
Central/Eastern Oregon: Mostly sunny and a beautiful day—with a few stubborn patches of fog in and near the Columbia Basin. Highs: 37-50.
