Halloween morning will be wet and breezy. And along the coast, it’ll be downright windy for awhile. But after scattered showers during much of the day, it’s a dry night in the Willamette valley with just patchy drizzle for trick-or-treat time.
By the way, the Halloween Sunset is at 5:59 p.m. And after we “fall back” this weekend, it leaves us with a Sunday sunset at 4:57. Yikes – I hate to even type that one!
The Saturday details now:
Coast: After a good shot of overnight rain, Saturday morning is showery and breezy with SW winds gusting to 40mph – easing considerably in the afternoon. A mostly dry evening. Highs: 56-58.
I-5 Corridor/Willamette Valley: Saturday starts breezy and wet. Then showers decrease and finally end around sunset. Highs: 58-61.
Gorge: Expect some light rain at times along gusty west winds blowing 15-25. Highs: 59-62.
Cascades: Rain, then snow at the ski resorts. Only rain at times on our passes.
The snow level is around 8,000 feet early Saturday – but drops to 5,000 on Saturday afternoon. Highs: 40-48.
Central/Eastern Oregon: Breezy areas with some spots having gusty SW winds to 30mph or so during the morning and mid-day. We’ll also see some scattered rain showers. But the good news is: we’ll be dry (but cooler) for trick-or-treaters around here. Highs: 52-59.
