a) The weekly winner of the Contest is determined by counting up the number of games in which each player has correctly chosen the winning team (The team that had the higher actual point total is considered the winning team. Point spreads are not counted). The Grand Prize winner of the Contest is determined by the number of games each player has correctly chosen throughout the course of the entire Contest. Other Prizes, if applicable, will be awarded to players with the next highest total of correctly chosen winning teams.
b) In the event of a tie in total wins predicted in a given week, we will look at the total points the player estimates for the specified tie-break game. The player with the closest estimate without going over will be that weeks winner. In case there is a tie after total wins and total tie-break points for the season, then the overall winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible tie score contestants. In the case of a tie in total season wins predicted, the Grand Prize winner and other prize winners, if applicable, will be selected in a random drawing from all tie score contestants.
2. What are leagues and how do I create or join one?
Take your game to the next level by challenging your friends or comparing your football savvy with other leagues. Creating and joining leagues is easy and free. Create a new league by clicking the 'Create League' link on the member homepage. Creating a league gives you full administrative rights to inviting friends, creating point scales, and e-mailing your teammates. Join a league by clicking the 'Join League' link on the member default page and enter in the correct league name and password. You must be logged in to access both of these features.
3. How do I make my picks?
a) Tie-Break Picks: Make your tie-breaker pick by guessing the total number of points you think will be scored in the last game of the week. Going over the total number of points scored will result in zero points awarded. YOUR GUESS MUST BE ENTERED ONE HOUR BEFORE THE FIRST GAME OF THE WEEK. You must be logged in to make your picks.
b) Weekly Picks: IMPORTANT: Pick the team you think will win for each of the games listed during a particular week. YOUR PICKS MUST BE ENTERED ONE
