There are fundamental principles to follow when trying to perfect (purr-fect) your golf swing. When working on your swing, keep your feet stable to ensure proper balance. Also, practice with your feet together. As the club moves into the back swing, your shoulders and chest should turn as well, with your balance shifting from your front foot to the back foot, and then back towards the front as your swing starts down. Remember to keep your left arm straight if you are right-handed, or your right arm straight if you are left handed. During the swing, keep your arms and the club in the shape of the letter 'Y' to ensure you are extending properly during the swing. Keep the club face low to the ground and watch the ball until you have finished your swing. A golf swing takes years to develop and perfect. A golf professional can offer advice on your technique and recommend lessons currently being offered. For more information, contact a golf course or golf professional in your area.
