A bomb threat called in to a Portland TV station shut down Chemeketa Community College in Salem Monday morning.

According to state police and deputies from Marion County, a woman called KPTV early Monday and said a bomb would go off at the school later in the morning.

The school on Lancaster Drive in northeast Salem decided to close its campus to all activity. They expected to reopen at 11 a.m. after a search by the state police bomb squad.

Local bus lines servicing the campus were also detoured.

More information will be added as it becomes available.
