WEST LINN, Ore. - More than a dozen neighbors discovered their vehicles had been broken into Monday morning. Police say thieves hit 14 vehicles in an upscale West Linn neighborhood overnight Monday.
In most of the cases, victims made it easy for the burglars by leaving their vehicles unlocked. The thieves stole i-pods, purses, GPS units, and other valuables. Police are contacting officers in other cities such as Sherwood and Lake Oswego that have had similar crime sprees in recent weeks.
