PORTLAND - The owner of Ari Diamonds told deputies his father and son were restrained by multiple armed suspects at his home in an effort to rob the jewelry store around 6:30 PM Wednesday evening.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office did not release any information about the robbery until 11:00 AM Thursday morning.
Deputies say the owner drove the suspects to the store where they, "cleaned out the store," according to investigators.
The suspects drove off in the victim's car which is described as a grey or silver 1994 Honda Accord.
The car has Oregon license plates that read: 819DQT.
