SHERWOOD, Ore. – About 1,400 people were able to get the H1N1 vaccine at two separate clinics Saturday morning.
Residents waited in line for hours, some even camped out at
Sherwood High School, just to get the H1N1 shot or mist.
There were also long lines at
Tom McCall Elementary School in Forest Grove.
Both sites administered about 700 shots each.
Washington County has postponed several flu clinics because of the delay in vaccine, but health officials expect more supply by the end of next week.
Two clinics are scheduled in Washington County next week.
Liberty High School in Hillsboro will hold a clinic on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm. Tigard High School will hold a clinic on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm. Only residents in priority groups will be vaccinated.
