Washington Capitals star forward Alex
Ovechkin left Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to Columbus with an undisclosed
injury.
Early in the second period, he fell to the ice after colliding with Columbus'
Raffi Torres. Capitals head coach Bruce Boudreau said Ovechkin is day-to-day
with an upper body injury.
The league's leading goal-scorer in each of the last two seasons, Ovechkin
currently tops the NHL in points (14 goals, nine assists).
