Westwood climbs to fifth in the world rankings

Lee Westwood won for the 19th time on the European Tour on Sunday and that helped him jump six places to No. 5 in the world rankings.

Tiger Woods is still No. 1 and was again trailed by Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker and Paul Casey. Padraig Harrington inched up one to sixth following Westwood.

Henrik Stenson and Kenny Perry were both down two spots to seventh and eighth respectively, while Jim Furyk, Sergio Garcia and Geoff Ogilvy each dipped one spot.

Martin Kaymer remained No. 12 and was again followed by Stewart Cink, Sean O'Hair, Vijay Singh and Lucas Glover.

Rory McIlroy moved up a spot to 17 bumping Camilo Villegas down one to 18. Retief Goosen and Zach Johnson exchanged places with Goosen up to 19.

Martin Laird earned his first PGA Tour win on Sunday and improved 129 places to No. 108 in the latest rankings.
